Mr. Beveridge is a well-known and acknowledged expert in the fields of object-oriented design, Windows development and software architecture. As well as being the creator and principal architect of the Connected Software family of products, he is also a popular speaker at software industry conferences and the author of the widely acclaimed book, Multithreading Applications in Win32.
The creation of the Connected Software family of products came about originally as an address book tool for Microsoft products developed for personal use. After a few other people tried it, it took on a life of its own with more people asking for more and more features. Leveraging in shrinkwrap product development from projects with companies like Intel and Brother, Mr. Beveridge expanded the product line with offerings for the Enterprise and for Internet companies.
In addition to his credentials as a software architect, Mr. Beveridge also has extensive experience in code standards and analysis, quality assurance methodologies, and on-time project management techniques. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
