Address Magic Enterprise PLUS (AME) provides a complete solution for migrating address books and email from Lotus Notes to Outlook for 100 to 100,000 mailboxes. AME is designed to minimize deployment costs by running hands-off with its unique Configure Once, Run Everywhere design. AME can convert Lotus Notes data to either an Outlook PST file, an Exchange mailbox, or a combination of the two.

Many organizations migrating from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange Server use the Exchange Migration Wizard. This wizard works well for server-side data, but it does not help with names.nsf personal address books or Lotus Notes message archives. Address Magic Enterprise Edition complements the Exchange Migration Wizard by migrating client-side Lotus Notes archives and address books to Microsoft Outlook and Exchange.Convert NSF to PST files without affecting the Lotus Notes data file.

Product Features

Contact Information Conversion - All contact information is converted, including phone numbers, postal addresses, comments, multiple email addresses and more. Lotus Notes distribution lists are converted to Outlook distribution lists.

SMTP Address Conversion - All Full Names are resolved to their respective SMTP addresses. Names in distribution lists will be resolved to public address books if necessary.

Full-Featured Email Conversion - Both Notes Rich Text and HTML/MIME messages will be converted appropriately to Outlook. Attachments and embedded images will also be converted intact.

Folder Hierarchy Conversion - The Lotus Notes folder structure is duplicated in Outlook, including nested folders. Special folders, such as the Inbox and the Send folder, are copied to the appropriate folders in Outlook, such as Inbox and Sent Items.

Calendar Conversion - Appointments and tasks are converted to Outlook. Recurrence information is preserved when possible.

International Support - International character sets are fully supported, included Far East languages like Japanese and Chinese.

Message Date Conversion - AME correctly converts all dates such as sent, received, and downloaded, including time zone compensation.

Configure Once, Run Everywhere™ (CORE) - Address Magic Enterprise Edition automatically configures itself to each client machine. For Lotus Notes, AME finds the names.nsf file and the default message archive. For Outlook, AME automatically determines the default profile and the location of the PST file or Exchange mailbox. Therefore the same command line works on each workstation and no individual configuration is required.

Switch ID Support - AME can run switch to any Lotus Notes ID file for which you have the password, which allows conversion of encrypted archives.

Exchange Server Direct Access - For centralized conversions, AME directly opens each user's Exchange Mailbox and inserts contacts, folders, and messages. It is not necessary to create a profile for each mailbox being converted.

Market Leading Performance - AME uses the lowest-level programming interfaces for the highest possible performance.

Non-destructive Conversion - The data in Lotus Notes will not be changed in any way and Lotus Notes will continue to function normally after the conversion.

PDA-Compatible Conversion - Contacts in Outlook are automatically reformatted to Outlook standards. This ensures that synchronization applications will have the correct data to perform PDA synchronization.

Typical Configuration

The most common configuration for running Address Magic is to convert Lotus Notes mail archives to a local Outlook PST file and and the names.nsf address book to the default Contacts folder in Exchange. Here are the command lines that do this: (Note that PST is a generic identifier and does not necessarily refer to a PST file.)

C:\> addrload -m nsf Archive.pst
C:\> addrload nsf pst

You'll notice that there are no file names, path names, user names, or any other user-specific configuration. Everything is determined automatically at run time.
