Error: The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation.

(Applies to Address Magic Personal and all variants of ePreserver running on Windows Vista or Windows 7.)

Problem: You try to run the installer but receive the error, "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation."

Solution: Please perform the following steps:

  1. Download the software again, but save it to your Desktop instead of running it.
  2. Go to your Desktop.
  3. Right-click the file you downloaded.
  4. Choose "Run as Administrator."
