Applies To: Epicenter Server

Problem: You tried to send an update in Epicenter Server, but you received this error:
Unable to continue. You must uncheck "Download Shared Folders" in Outlook."

Cause: By default, Outlook attempts to cache shared folders and foreign mailboxes are considered shared folders. Caching dozens or hundreds of mailboxes is not desirable.

Solution: The checkbox for "Download Shared Folders" can be found in:

Control Panel / Mail / Show Profiles / Properties / Email Accounts / Change (or Settings) / More Settings / Advanced tab

You need to:

1. Close Outlook
2. Close Epicenter Server
3. Uncheck the box above
4. Restart Epicenter Server
