How do I remove the Epicenter contacts from a user?
Solution

To remove Epicenter's contacts from the ALL of the Exchange mailboxes for a particular Epicenter task, follow these instructions:

  1. Create a new contacts folder in Outlook.
  2. Put a single contact in it with a name of something like "Folder Removed".
  3. Edit your existing Epicenter task.
  4. Change the source address book to be the new Outlook folder.
  5. Send the update.

To remove Epicenter's contacts from SOME of the Exchange mailbox for a particular Epicenter task, follow these instructions. This WILL NOT WORK if your destination folder is the default Contacts folder.

  1. Create a new contacts folder in Outlook.
  2. Put a single contact in it with a name of something like "Folder Removed".
  3. Create a new Epicenter task.
  4. Set the source address book to be the new folder.
  5. Go to the Task menu in Epicenter Server and select "Strict Updates".
  6. Send the update.

The folder will be left behind with that single contact. Everything else will be removed. (You can't send out an empty folder.)
