Problem: Palm Desktop is installed on your computer, but it doesn't show up on the list of destinations in Address Magic.
Cause: Address Magic does not support converting directly to the Palm Desktop.
Solution: Below are solutions for importing and exporting your Palm Desktop contacts.
Import: To convert an address book into Palm Desktop 4.1.2 or later, perform the following steps:
- Use Address Magic to convert from your source address book to vCard. Make sure you pay attention to where you save the vCard file.
- Open the Palm Desktop.
- Click on Contacts on the bar on the left.
- Open the File menu and select Import.
- Next to "Files of type:", select vCard file.
- Open the vCard file you created in step 1.
Export: To export your contacts from Palm Desktop 4.1.2 or later, use Address Magic Personal (or Enterprise), Build 380 or later.
