Error: Unable to open the mailbox for ... Reason: Unspecified error.

Symptom: When you send an update, you receive this error:
Unable to open the mailbox for Xxx Yyyy <firstname.lastname@example.org>. Reason: Unspecified error.
This error is most often seen with Office 365.
Cause: You are using Outlook 2010, which will not connect to Office 365 because of HttpMapi.
First look at Help | About in Epicenter Server and make sure you are running Build 432 or later. Earlier versions of Epicenter Server have issues talking to Office 365.
To resolve the problem, there are two alternatives:
1. Upgrade to Outlook 2013 on the system running Epicenter Server. Make sure you install the latest Service Pack and updates.
2. Follow the directions in the Disable HttpMapi section in our manual:
