To convert your address book to Microsoft Excel, you first use Address Magic to convert your address book to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. Make sure you note the location of where you save the CSV file. To open the file in Excel, start Excel, open the File menu and click Open. In the bottom of the Open window, change "Files of type" to be Text Files.  Now browse to where you saved the CSV file and open it.

To convert a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to an address book, first open your spreadsheet in Excel. Next, open the File menu in Excel, click Save As and change "Save as type" to be CSV (comma delimited).  Make sure you note the location of where you save the CSV file. Now run Address Magic and select Comma Separated Values (CSV) as your source.

You cannot convert an Excel Spreadsheet to any of the following formats: AOL, Mozilla, Netscape 6 or 7, Pegasus or Thunderbird. You must have Address Magic Enterprise to convert a CSV file to the Exchange Global Address List.
