New distribution lists in Outlook are empty

Sympton: When Address Magic imports a large distribution list into Outlook, the distribution list is created but the distribution list is empty. No error is shown.
 
Cause: This can happen if the contacts folder is stored on Exchange Server.  Exchange has a limit to the number of contacts that can be stored in a distribution list in Outlook.  This problem is discussed in the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 238569, which can be found at:

Solution: The only solution to this problem is to break the distribution list apart into separate distribution lists.
